Theft Deterrent Wire

Harger Theft Deterrent Wire (TDW) conductors consist of combinations of tin-plated copper strands surrounded by galvanically compatible, tin-plated copper-clad steel stranding. Applications include exposed leads for ground electrode systems used in electrical distribution (substations) and wireless cell sites, and anywhere theft is an issue.

TDW conductors are difficult to cut using standard hand tools and magnetic which deters copper theft.  They can be bonded to surfaces exothermically or with Harger's tamper-proof flange bonding plates or pipe clamps.
