COVID-19 Update
March 30, 2020
Today is Day 9 of the Illinois Shelter-In-Place Order. We are pleased to report that our company is fully operational and ended last week with a pretty nice week of orders. We have no team members that have contracted the virus at this time. We have taken several extra steps to help prevent the spread including hiring a specialized sanitation technician who cleans and sanitizes the premises eight hours a day. Vicki will be here for the next several weeks or until the order is lifted. We are also providing home-made masks, (thanks to Allyse and Sue Bee). All team members that want masks now have them, but masks will still be made so that family members and friends can be supplied as well. We certainly appreciate how well everyone is working together during this crisis, great attitudes can be found everywhere.
More good news. In order to help support our neighbors in need, we are rolling out a monthly food drive. We’re looking for non-perishable items such as canned vegetables, soups, boxed foods, cereal, water and even pet food. We will be choosing a new charity every month to help spread the blessings around. Jeremy will be managing the drive, more news to come.
In closing, we’re swimming in unchartered waters. The best way to overcome is to go through this together and stay strong in our faith. Please remember, the Chaplains are available either electronically or by phone for additional support. [email protected] is another source of comfort as well.
