Molds
|
• The mold is made of a semi-permanent graphite and is used for making the Ultraweld connection.
• The mold controls the flow and direction of the molten weld metal. • TOP-LIGHT mold cover design greatly improves the ignition process, making the ignition process easier to perform while substantially reducing the reaction emissions. It eliminates flint igniter fouling and significantly extends the igniter life. • Under normal usage, the high temperature graphite mold can last for an average of 50 or more connections. • The smokeless process uses an integrated filter system on the mold and electric ignition of the weld to produce a finished connection with minimal smoke emission. Ideal for indoor and confined space working conditions. • For smokeless process, ignition is accomplished with the use of a rechargeable battery. |
